Disguised Seclusion

Most days life is routine. The same thing everyday. An unbreakable cycle. It is a commitment. Something promised.

The chance to complete one's circle is a rarity.

Words. The same words. The same escapes. Not necessarily hiding, but allowing release. A sense of personal freedom. A private secret. Not many understand that feeling.

The back of the mind works out the comforts. The scenarios. The situations. The experiences.

Beauty is the power to exist in both parts of the mind. Reality and the secret part in the brain that allows escape. The part only the beholder sees and hears. Private thoughts never intended to be shared.

Imagination is the key to indulgence without punishment. Forbidden desires...secret lovers...revenge...money...murder...punishment. Emotions allowed to run free willfully under a blanket of secrecy, in the silence of the mind.

It is a novel of one's life, written and added to daily. Re-enactments of mistakes. Dreaming deeply after a lingered glance with one you know you cannot have. Flashes of wants and needs, both mental and materialistic.

Dreams and memories are not forgotten. The future is thankfully unknown.
